Yahoo! JAPAN Ads API v13 release

Updates

February 20, 2024: Updated the information due to the release of API v13.

This update contains new information that has been changed from the initial announcement. Check the following release notes for details.

Changes to the Search Ads API:

■Seasonality bid adjustment
You can specify a campaign ID when getting seasonality bid adjustment information.

■End of data assignment list
We will remove performance reports and services that receive data assignment lists from v13. This change applies to versions before v12. Find more details, including the end date, in this announcement.
End of extended text ads and data assignment list

  • Remove "FEED_ITEM" (Ad display option report) from reportType of ReportDefinitionService (add).
  • Remove FeedItemService(get) and FeedService(get).

■Maintenance: Change ENUM value for RetargetingListService
Change the ENUM value "REFFER_URL" in the RetargetingListServiceUrlRuleKey to "REFER_URL." 

■Maintenance: Improvement of field "startIndex"
We will rename the field name "startIndex" in the target services to match the actual behavior.

• The field name "startIndex" will be "pageIndex" for KeywordPlanIdeaService(get).
  *The field name "startIndex" will remain the same for other services.
• The descriptions of startIndex, pageIndex, and numberResults after the improvement will be as follows:

This improvement only changes the field name and won't change the behavior of the Search Ads API.

Changes to the Display Ads API:

■New list type "Advanced segments" for audience list targeting
A new list type, "Advanced segments," will be available. It is one of the audience list targeting options merged with search keyword targeting.
*This feature is already available in the Campaign Management Tool. See the following announcement for the details.

■Yahoo! JAPAN Tag Manager
We will make the following changes before the end of the Yahoo! JAPAN Tag Manager scheduled for June 2024.

■Ad type (prev) item removal
We will remove the "Ad type (prev)" item from the report.

■Changes in tracking tools for app conversion tracking
We will remove tools that are no longer available for tracking app conversions.

  • Remove "AUDIENCE_CATEGORY_TARGET" from AdGroupTargetService.
  • Remove "getAudienceCategory" from DictionaryService.
• We will modify the CampaignService field names as follows:
  
  • Change conversionOptimizer to optimizer.
  • Change conversionOptimizerTrainingStatus to optimizerTrainingStatus.
• We will remove the following unused fields from the AdGroupTargetService age.

Comments

• We will hold an online seminar to give an overview of v13 along with the release.  Wait for further announcements for more details.

Yahoo! JAPAN Ads API v11 will end with the following schedule:
　Support end date: March 13, 2024
　End of life date: June 12, 2024

Yahoo! JAPAN Ads API v10 will end with the following schedule:
　End of life date: March 13, 2024
