Search Ads: End of Extended Text Ads and data assignment list

We will end adding new ads for Extended Text Ads and offering a data assignment list as previously announced.

Ending Data Assignment List (Updated February 29, 2024)

■Overview
　Addition and delivery ads for ad customizer using a data assignment list will be no longer available.

■Schedule

• September 28, 2022 (Wed) Completed
  We closed by adding new ads for ad customizer using a data assignment list for all ads including Dynamic Ads for Search. We also closed the features for importing and deleting a data assignment list on the same day as previously announced.

• Early December 2023 Completed
  The ad delivery using the data assignment list stopped sequentially from June 30, 2023, and all deliveries stopped in early December 2023. When a default text is set for ads, the default text is inserted, and ad delivery will continue.
• February 28, 2024 Completed
  We closed the following two features.
  - Ad display option report
  Getting the "FEED_ITEM (Ad display option report)" in the ReportDefinitionService is no longer available.
  *FEED_ITEM is a report that allows you to check performance data from the Ad Customizer and (Prev)  Ad display option using a data assignment list.
  "(Prev) ad display option report" was unavailable from July 2022.
  - Getting data assignment list
  Getting FeedService and FeedItemService are no longer available.

  - In ReportDefinitionService(add), FEED_ITEM (Ad display option report) is no longer available in reportType. If you request it, the following error will return.
  Error code: 120020
  Message: Can not set value.
  - FeedItemService(get) and FeedService(get) became unavailable. If you request it, the following error will return.
  Error code: 0099
  Message: Out of service.

  -You can't create ads with EXTENDED_TEXT_AD specified in adType on AdGroupAdService (add)
  -FeedItemService (add, set, remove, setTrademarkStatus) is not available, only get is available
