Summary

In geo targeting for Search Ads, you can specify a target radius in addition to the current method of specifying locations (prefecture, city, ward, and county). This allows for more accurate targeting than specifying locations.

Details

How to set up
In campaign geo targeting, define the target area by specifying a target point and its radius.

<Target point>

  • Enter the place name, address, zip, or latitude and longitude, and specify from the options.
  • Specify by placing a pin on the map.

<Radius>
Specify within a range of 1 to 80 km.

*Screen images are subject to change.
*Download the document for detailed instructions and see the help page, which will be updated on the scheduled date.

Example of use
For example, in retail or dining chains with actual stores, you can specify a radius centered on each store's location to deliver ads to internet users within the area.
For more details on the use case, download the document.

Comments

  • You can use it with the current target locations (prefecture, city, ward, and county).
  • Ads will not be delivered in areas where delivery is not available, such as over the sea, even if specified by latitude and longitude.
