Summary
For Display Ads (Auction), we will enhance the usability of placement targeting.
Change the placement URL of the LINE App
We will change the placement URL of the LINE App as follows. Use the changed placement URL (common to OS) after the scheduled date.
- Before
- iOS: itunes.apple.com/443904275
- Android: play.google.com/jp.naver.line.android
- After
- Common to OS: ad.line.me
If the URL before the change is registered in the placement list, the system will rewrite it to the URL after the change. You don't need to change the settings. The system will rewrite it to the new URL gradually and complete it by the following day of the scheduled date.
Specify the ad place of LINE App
Previously, you could only specify the entire LINE App, but now you will be able to specify by ad places, such as Chat list, and LINE NEWS.

For about one month after the release, the "Impressions" and "User size" appear for LINE App places in the placement list creation/modifying view may be lower than the actual numbers.
New placement URLs that can specify the entire services of LYC
We will offer new placement URLs that you can specify for each Yahoo! JAPAN, LINE App, and LINE Family Apps.

Improvement of placement URL search
When creating a placement list, the main services provided by LYC will be able to search by "Ad place name" in addition to searching by URL.

Add report items
We will add a new "Ad place name" to the report item.
The "Ad place name" will show the name of the main services provided by LYC.

The impact on the Yahoo! JAPAN Ads Display Ads API is as follows:
- Web service: ReportDefinitionService
- We will add a new field "AD_PLACE_NAME" to the ad delivery URL report.
- Versions affected: All versions
- Web service: PlacementUrlIdeaService
- Display Ads API will support this feature in the next version. Wait for further announcements with details.
