Summary
In the search query report and negative keyword registration, obvious typos and omissions are corrected and consolidated into appropriate search queries.
We expect this change to improve convenience by reducing the workload when checking search queries and registering negative keywords.
Details of the impact of this change are as follows.
Search query report and search query list
When a search is performed with obvious typing errors, such as misspellings, the results will be added up to the correct term in the search query report and search query list.
This change may cause fluctuations in the number of rows (records) in the search query reports and lists and the values in the reports.
The following examples are subject to obvious input errors.
Example:
Search query | Search query when appearing in search results | Viewing in the search query report list |
---|---|---|
やほー | Yahoo | The result is added to Yahoo and output. |
自動車保健 | 自動車保険 (auto insurance) | The result is added to 自動車保険 (auto insurance) and output. |
*Search queries that may include notation variations and other intentions, such as English translations, won't be considered.
Negative keyword
If you register the correct term for negative keywords, obvious input errors will be excluded.
Example:
Keywords to register for negative keywords | Excluded search queries |
---|---|
Yahoo |
|
自動車保険 (auto insurance) |
|
* If you register "やほー" as a negative keyword, "Yahoo" is not excluded.
*Search queries that may include notation variations and other intentions, such as English translations, won't be considered.
