Summary

Moat Analytics, a certified effectiveness measurement partner, will end its services on September 30, 2024. As a result, Moat Analytics measurement script tags (hereinafter referred to as "script tags") will no longer be available for Yahoo! JAPAN Ads Display Ads. If you are using Moat Analytics script tags, please check the following and change the settings as necessary.

• Ads that have Moat Analytics script tags inserted will be served with the tags removed. Therefore, if you do not want your ads to be served with the tag removed, please pause the relevant campaign or ad.
• The effects on creating and editing ads are as follows:
  • Creation: You will no longer be able to create ads that contain Moat Analytics script tags.
  • Edit: For ads that have Moat Analytics script tags inserted, you can edit and save all items except for the "Third-party script tag src attribute URL." When editing the "Third-party script tag src attribute URL", you can delete the Moat Analytics tag or change it to a script tag provided by another certified effectiveness measurement partner, but if you change the text while keeping the Moat Analytics tag, you will not be able to save it.

Impact on Yahoo! JAPAN Ads Display Ads API

The impact on the Display Ads Ads API is as follows:

Applicable versions: All versions currently available
Target service: AdGroupAdService
Content: If you specify the Moat Analytics third-party measurement script tag src attribute URL in "scriptTagTrackingUrl" when ADDing or SETting AdGroupAdService, the following error will be returned after the implementation date.
code：F0001
message：Invalid format.
However, if you specify the same value as the Moat Analytics third-party measurement script tag src attribute URL that has already been set, no error will occur.
You can still modify other fields.
