July 31, 2024: We started applying "Food Products and Health Food Products" on June 28 and "Cosmeceutical Products (Quasi-Drugs) and Cosmetics" on July 31.
July 12, 2024: We updated the effective date of Cosmeceutical Products (Quasi-Drugs) and Cosmetics.
June 26, 2024: We updated our effective date due to partial changes.

Summary

In the review for Yahoo! JAPAN Ads, we will integrate some of the review standards of "Chapter 6: Restrictions on Advertisements such as Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Act, and Specific Advertising Standards for Certain Products" in the Advertisement Editorial Guidelines with those of LINE Ads.

The standards that we integrate at this time are based on the Act on Securing Quality, Efficacy and Safety of Products Including Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices. In accordance with our interpretation of the laws and regulations, we have separately reviewed your advertisements until now.

The interpretation of the laws and regulations has been integrated due to the merger of our companies. You will no longer need to create ads for each platform to meet each standard. You can create ads using the same expressions.

  • Effective date of "(1) Cosmetics and cosmeceutical products (quasi-drugs)" in LINE Ads and "2. Cosmeceutical Products (Quasi-Drugs) and Cosmetics" in Yahoo! JAPAN Ads:

Changes

We will integrate the following two standards, which are included in "Chapter 6: Restrictions on Advertisements such as Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Act, and Specific Advertising Standards for Certain Products" for Yahoo! JAPAN Ads and LINE Ads.
