Summary

We have changed the following specifications for measuring viewable impressions and metrics related to video to be consistent with the specifications of clicks and impressions.

■Change of duration
The duration for measuring metrics is changed as follows:
(Before) 1 hour after ad delivery
(After) 24 hours after ad delivery

<Metrics>

  • Viewable impressions
  • Video views
  • Video views to 25%
  • Video views to 50%
  • Video views to 75%
  • Video views to 95%
  • Video views to 100%
  • 3 sec video views
  • 10 sec video views

For example, when an ad appears in the visible area of an internet user three hours after the ad is delivered, the viewable impressions aren't currently counted, but they are counted.

■Notes
・The metric values may increase in performance reports and performance data.
・If a viewable impression, a video view, or any other billing action takes place beyond the duration of the ad delivery, you won't be charged for it.

■Changes to counting dates (video-related metrics only)
The counting dates are changed to the following:
(Before) The date the impression is generated
(After) Video viewing date

<Metrics>

  • Video views
  • Video views to 25%
  • Video views to 50%
  • Video views to 75%
  • Video views to 95%
  • Video views to 100%
  • 3 sec video views
  • 10 sec video views
  • Avg. CPC
  • Avg. video view rate
  • Avg. duration of video viewed
  • Video view through rate

For example, if an impression is counted on March 1 and an internet user views 100% of the video on March 2, it is currently counted as "Video viewed to 100%" on March 1, but it is counted as "Video viewed to 100%" on March 2.

Notes
・Depending on the duration selected for performance reports and other reports, "Video viewed to 100%" may contain inconsistent values, such as exceeding "Video views." This may be caused when the video start and the end are on different days.
・The following items may not be calculated correctly depending on the selected duration such as in performance reports.

  • Avg. CPC
  • Avg. video view rate
  • Avg. duration of video viewed
  • Video view through rate
