Summary

We have implemented the Topics API* offered by Google Chrome for Yahoo! JAPAN Ads Display Ads and have started observing topics of interest to internet users and got topics. The target for observing and acquiring topics is when a web page with the following set of tags is viewed in Chrome, which supports the Privacy Sandbox.

  • Conversion tag
  • Site retargeting tag

*"Topics API" is a solution to estimate topics of interest to users by protecting the privacy of internet users.

Comments

  • The changes will be made for future use. There will be no impact on ad delivery or ad tracking.
  • For web pages that do not want the topics to be observed, you can select an opt-out for the Topics API.
