Overview

The frequency of updating your images and video ads in the recommendations for Display Ads (Auction) has been changed as follows:

・Before
 Recommend updating ads that have not been updated with images or videos for the past 2 months or more, and viewable click rates are lowering.

・After
 Recommend updating ads that have not been updated with images or videos in the past month or more, and viewable click rates are lowering.

The recommendation feature will suggest changes or reviews that will improve management efficiency and maximize opportunities based on the ad management status of the account. Learn more on the following help page.

Changes on Yahoo! JAPAN Ads API

Yahoo! JAPAN Ads Display Ads API supports this enhancement as follows.

  • ・Before v10
     In RecommendationService's updateAdCreative, the response of viewableCtrTwoMonthsAgo is returned null.
      The latestViewableCtr returns the value of the average viewable click rate from the previous day to 15 days ago.
  • ・v11
     In RecommendationService's updateAdCreative, add previousViewableCtr to return the average viewable click rate value 16-30 days before the date of the recommendation.
     The latestViewableCtr returns the value of the average viewable click rate from the previous day to 15 days ago.
