 Sign-in using one-time passcodes will end. Sign-in using Yahoo! JAPAN ID will be mandatory.

Overview

We will change the sign-in method for Yahoo! JAPAN Ads to strengthen our security.

・Before
 Sign in with Business ID and password.

・After
 Link Business ID and Yahoo! JAPAN ID (ID linkage), then sign in.

 If you haven't linked IDs yet, link your Business ID with Yahoo! JAPAN ID.
 Sign-in with a one-time passcode will be available for a limited time.

About sign-in using one-time passcodes

Sign-in with one-time passcodes will be available only to advertisers of Yahoo! JAPAN Ads. Every time you sign in, you will receive a one-time passcode sent to the email address registered for your Business ID. Use it with your Business ID to sign in.

*Sign-in using a one-time passcode will be available only for Yahoo! JAPAN Ads tools such as Campaign Management Tool. To sign in to other business services, you must sign in with the linked Yahoo! JAPAN ID. Sign-in with a one-time passcode will be available for a limited time.
After the integration of sign-in methods, you will have to sign in with your Yahoo! JAPAN ID linked.

New users must sign in with Yahoo! JAPAN ID when signing up for Yahoo! JAPAN Ads.

When you sign up for Yahoo! JAPAN Ads after the linkage becomes mandatory, you must sign in with the linked Yahoo! JAPAN ID.

For Yahoo! JAPAN Ads API (API) users, see the following information:

・Developers using Yahoo! JAPAN Ads API
 -After March 8, 2023
 When you sign in to API Management Console using Business ID, a one-time passcode will be required.
 We recommend signing in using a linked Yahoo! JAPAN ID.
 -By the end of 2023
 Sign-in to API Management Console using Business ID will no longer be available.
 Using a linked Yahoo! JAPAN ID will be the only sign-in method.
・Users who have given authorization to API
 -After March 8, 2023
 When you sign in to API Management Console using Business ID that has the authorization to access Yahoo! JAPAN Ads API, a one-time passcode will be required. We recommend signing in using a linked Yahoo! JAPAN ID.
 -By the end of 2023
 The refresh token will be invalid if you haven't linked your Business ID and Yahoo! JAPAN ID.
 After linking the IDs, reauthorize the service or tool using the Yahoo! JAPAN Ads API.
