Search Ads New conversion tracking purpose and reports

Dear customers,
Thank you for using Yahoo! JAPAN Ads.
We will start to fully support new conversion tracking purpose on
Search Ads. There are some feature changes such as reports in the
previous format end. Please see the following details.
1. Product:
Yahoo! JAPAN Ads Search Ads

3. New conversion tracking purpose:
The new conversion tracking purpose, that used to support only app
conversion and partial report display, will become compatible with
all conversions such as web pages.
Totally 20 new conversion tracking purposes will become available.
This change will help you to choose the suited purpose for your ad.
After the release, you will be able to select a new conversion
tracking purpose when setting a new conversion tracking.
When editing an existing conversion tracking setting, changing to
a new conversion tracking purpose will become available.
For the existing conversion tracking purposes, we will carry out an
automatic migration to the new tracking purposes.
Details are as follows.
・Schedule of automatic migration
May 19 (Thu) - May 31 (Tue), 2022
*This date is subject to change.
・Flow of migration
Existing conversion tracking purposes will be migrated to new
purposes.
During the schedule, the migration process will sequentially
proceed. We will make an announcement on the information page
once we complete migration on all corresponding accounts.
*Existing conversion tags will have no change. You can continuously
use the conversion tag already set to your website without change.
*Our system will automatically select a new conversion tracking
purpose on the migration process. Once after the migration process
completes, you will be able to change the purpose by yourself if
necessary.

*We cannot answer about the completion of automatic migration for
each account.
Check the document for more details of new conversion tracking
purposes and migration.
4. End of reports in previous format:
We ended creating a report template in previous format when we
started the performance reports in the new format on October 20, 2021.
At this time, we will end supporting the report creation in the
previous formats.
The templates in the previous format will end at the same time.
If you used any previous templates, please use the report in the new
format and template.
Check the following release note for more details of the new report.

5. Changes on the new report:
We will make the following change on reports in the new format.
・The new option "This Month (excluding today)" will become available
for the duration of report creation.
・Change the output when "1" or more is deleted from the "Impressions"
of the "Filter" item set in the initial settings.
Before: output on the report for the data with impressions "0"
After: When specifying any items of "display by" on report setting
(such as day, week, device), it will be output on reports only when
there are some actual results such as impressions, clicks, and cost.
When specifying no items of "display by," the data with impressions
"0" will be output on reports.
・Some items can be combined that could not be combined when creating
the report.

6. Changes on Search Ads API:
Yahoo! JAPAN Ads Search Ads API will have following changes.
・New conversion tracking purpose
API v7 and next version support these changes.
More details will be available on the announcement of the next version.
・Change on reports in the new format.
-The new option "This Month (excluding today)" will become available
for the duration of report creation.
→ available on the next version
-Other changes
→ All available versions There is no interface change.
・End of reports in previous format
API v5 that supports reports in the existed format have already
depreciated in February 2022.
Use reports in the new format on API v6 and later.
7. Remarks:
Until this release is completed, there may be times when conversion
tags cannot be obtained. Wait for a while and try again.
