Display Ads (Auction) Audience list for app users and conversion tracking for app event

3. Overview:

On Display Ads (Auction), we have released the audience list specifically for app users and add the conversion tracking feature for app events other than install.
We also released the "link ID" feature.

■Audience list for app users

Audience lists based on app event information have been available in the "rule" list, however the "rule" list mixed app and web users.
In order to improve this situation, we added "app users" to the audience list type as a new option and enable the audience list specialized for app users.

[Note]
-App users can still be stored in the audience list "rule", but we recommend using "app users" after the feature becomes available.

■Conversion tracking feature for app events other than install

The conversion tracking purpose for app was fixed as "other," and the tracking has been available only for app installs until now.
After adding the feature, users can select from various options, such as "in-app purchase" and "add to cart" in addition to the "app install" that have already been available. The conversion tracking of in-app events other than install became available.

[Note]
-You will be able to view the measured conversions of in-app event in performance reports and on the Campaign Management Tool.
-The conversions of in-app event are used for ad delivery optimization such as autobidding.

■Link IDs

Link ID feature became available to link app measurement tools provided by companies other than Yahoo! JAPAN with the data from Yahoo! JAPAN Ads.

[Note]
-When using the "audience list specialized for app users," it is required to create a link ID on the Campaign Management Tool and to set it to the tracking tools. To enable the setting when using the "conversion tracking of in-app events other than install" is optional, but we recommend to enable the setting.
-Link IDs created for the purpose of using the preceding feature are uniquely assigned to accounts, apps, and tracking tools.

 The audience list for "app users" became available when creating audience lists and setting ad groups.

・Conversion tracking feature for app events other than install
 When specifying "conversionTrackerType: APP_CONVERSION" on ConversionTrackerService, you can select the conversion tracking purpose other than "DOWNLOAD" for the setting value of "category."

・Link IDs
 Referring the link IDs and related information became available by using "AppLinkService" that became available on Display Ads API v9.

These new features are available on the following ad measurement tools as of the effective date.
 AppsFlyer (AppsFlyer)
 Adjust (adjust KK)
 *Tool provider names are in parentheses.
 *Tools other than those listed above will be supported in the future.

On the setting view of the app measurement tool that can use the new feature described on this announcement of this notice, the "link ID" may be displayed before the implementation date, but it cannot be used until the implementation date.
