Change of Age Targeting features on Display Ads

Dear customers,

Thank you for using Yahoo! JAPAN Ads.

There will be an age group change made to age targeting features of
Display Ads. Please see the following details.


1. Product:
　Yahoo! JAPAN Ads Display Ads (Auction)
　Yahoo! JAPAN Ads Display Ads (Guaranteed)

2. Schedule:
　April 4, 2022 (Mon)
　*The schedule is subject to change.

3. Overview:
　From April 2022, the definition of adult age will be changed to
　"18 years old." Along with this change, we will change some of the
　age groups in age targeting as follows.
　[Before] 15-19
　[After] 18-19

　・As a result of this change, age targeting under 18 will no longer
　　be possible.
　・When "15-19" is set before the implementation of this change, it
　　will be automatically changed to "18-19" on the implementation date.
　・The display in the "Age" column of the performance report will
　　change as follows.
　　[Before] -14
　　[After] -17

　　[Before] 15-19
　　[After] 18-19

　*Actual results of ads delivered to "15-17" before this change are
　　included in "18-19" in the performance report acquired after this
　　change.

4. Yahoo! JAPAN Ads Display Ads API:
　After the implementation, with all versions including v7, if you
　specify "GT_RANGE15_19," the target will be 18-19.
　
　On the next version v8, "GT_RANGE15_19" will be abolished and
　"GT_RANGE18_19" will be newly established in the AGE setting value.

5. Remarks:
　・After this change, the performance report with the previous age
　　groups will become unavailable.
　　When you need a report for the age group before the change, get the
　　report before change implementation date.

　・On the day of change, an error may occur in the age targeting
　　settings.
　　Wait for a while and try again.

　・Age groups on importing file will have some change.
　　When you use the importing feature on the Campaign Management Tool
　　and Campaign Editor, download the latest data of added ads.
