Search Ads New auto bidding type

We will provide a new auto bidding type on the standard bidding of
Search Ads. Please see below for details.

3. Overview:
 Search Ads standard bidding will have a new auto bidding type.
 
 Previously, the bidding method was required to be changed depending
 on the advertising purpose set to campaigns.
 After the effective date, you only need to change the options and
 won't need to change the setting of auto bidding type.
 Your campaign management will be flexible.
 
 ■ Adding "Maximize Conversion Value" and changing "Target ROAS"
  We are planning a release of new auto bidding type "Maximize
  Conversion Value" in the near future.
  
  Before this release, the "Target ROAS" will be an option for
  "Maximize Conversion Value" after the new auto bidding type is
  effective.
  
  ・Maximize conversion value + Option setting "Set":
    Same as the "Target ROAS" currently being provided
  ・Maximize conversion value + Option setting "Unset":
    will be provided as "Maximize conversion value" in the near
    future
   
  *We will inform you once the release date is determined.
  *Before the release of "Maximize Conversion Value," the option
  setting "Unset" is not available.

 ■ "Maximize Conversions" and "Target CPA" 
  "Target CPA" will become an option for "Maximize Conversions."

  ・Maximize conversion + Option setting "Set":
    Same as the "Target CPA" currently being provided
  ・Maximize conversion + Option setting "Unset":
    Same as the "Maximize Conversions" currently being provided

  Download and check the documents for details and schedule of the new auto bidding type.

4. Note:
 ・Although how to set up auto bidding will change, the functions of
  each auto bidding type will remain the same.
 ・The new auto bidding type will be provided for the standard bidding
  only.
 ・After the effective date, adding a new setting of the current auto
  bidding type will become unavailable.
  Changing the setting to the current auto bidding type on the
  existing campaigns will become unavailable also.
  However checking the settings and changing any values on the
  current auto bidding type are still available.
 ・The old type of auto bidding will be automatically transferred to
  the new type in the future.
 * We will inform you once the release date and details are determined.
  
 ・Steps of setting new auto bidding type will become available on the
  help pages after the effective date.

5. Impact on Yahoo! JAPAN Ads Search Ads API:

 ■Impacts:
  Auto bidding type setting:
   CampaignService
   ・biddingStrategyType

  Set upper and lower bid limit:
   CampaignService
   ・bidCeiling
   ・bidFloor
 
 If you are using API of v5 or lower, note the following points.
 ・When changing to the old auto bidding type or specifying a new
  setting, the new auto bidding type will be set without error.
 ・Requests and responses are in old format.
  Check the report to see whether the format is old or new.
 ・The "upper limit of bid price" and "lower limit of bid price" of
  Standard bidding will be abolished by this change.
  If you try to set it, the request will be ignored.
  If you have already a value set, we recommend that you delete it.
