[Display Ads] Change of tracking conversion after video view

Thank you for using Yahoo! JAPAN Ads.

We will change the method of tracking conversion after video view on
Display Ads. Please see the following details.

1. Product:

 April 13, 2021 (Tue)
 *Schedule may change without prior notice.

3. Overview:
 The method of tracking conversion after video view will change as below.
 [Before]
  Conversions are counted for the last action that took place before the
  conversion.
  Example1: Video view > Ad click > Conversion count

  The conversion is counted for the ad click.
  Example2: Ad click > Video view > Conversion count
  The conversion is counted for the video view.

 [After]
  Of the actions that took place before conversion, the conversion for
  ad click is counted preferentially.
  Example3: Ad click > Video view > Conversion count
  The conversion is counted for the ad click.

  Example4: Video view > Conversion count
  The conversion is counted for the video view.

 This change will increase the data available for optimizing autobidding
 and improve the accuracy of video based ad delivery.

4. Fluctuations in some indicators:
 This change may cause fluctuations in numerical trends in performance
 reports and some indicators of performance data displayed on the list views.

 The change will be made on the followings:

  ・Cost/conv.
  ・Conv. value
  ・Conv. value/conversions
  ・Conv. value/cost
  ・Cross-device conv.
 ■Conversion via click
  ・Conversions (via click)

  ・Conv. value (via click)/conv. (via click)
  ・Conv. value (via click)/cost
 ■All conversions
  ・Conversions (all)

  ・Conv. value (all)/cost

 Fluctuations occur only for numbers counted as conversions after the
 effective date.
 The conversions counted before the effective date does not change.

5. Impact on Display Ads API:

  Changes described on the topics 3 and 4 of this notification will
  be applied on the performance report gotten by ReportDefinitionService
  and on the performance data gotten by StatsService.
