Yahoo! JAPAN Ads API v4 released

Yahoo! JAPAN Ads API new version has been released, as previously
announced in "Yahoo! JAPAN Ads API v4 release (Document Number :
APIE-FY20-2157)." Please see below for details.

4. Changes on Search Ads API:
 ■MCC accounts
 Search, browse, edit MCC account became available.
 *This feature is already available on the Campaign Management Tool.

 Along with this enhancement, there are the following changes.
 ・Added new AccountLinkService to support acquiring account link
  information of MCC accounts
  -Before using this new feature, you need to create MCC account and
  associate accounts (account link) in advance on the Campaign
  Management Tool.
 ・Made following changes on AccountService
  -Removed managerAccountId and canManageAccounts
 -Added includeManagerAccount for get request
 -Added isManagerAccount on get/set responses

 ■Changes on reporting
 Following changes were made on the names of filter conditions on
 ReportDefinitionService.
  [before > after]
  reportOperator > filterOperator
  value > values

 ■Changes on proposal service
 We made the following changes on the proposal service.
 ・Added the following services
   KeywordPlanIdeaService
   KeywordForecastMetricsService

 ・Removed TargetingIdeaService
  *Similar function became available on KeywordPlanIdeaService

 ・Changed QPS of proposal service to "maximum 1 case/sec"
  *KeywordEstimatorService that is currently available will be
  removed on the version up later.
  Please consider using KeywordForecastMetricsService.
  We have prepared a document that summarizes the differences between
  old and new services related to keyword suggestion, including the
  preceding changes.

 ■Maintenance release
 ・AccountService supported updating Yahoo! JAPAN Business ID of the
  account administrator.

 ・Supported reverse lookup of keywords.
  By specifying the keyword (term), keyword match type, and ad group
  ID at the time of AdGroupCriterionService/get, get keyword ID
  became available.

 ・Changed some values of Enum that describes the character code of
  download files to unify notation.
  Following services have the change.
   ReportDefinitionService
   AuditLogService
   CampaignExportService
   PageFeedItemService

 ・Changed the request interface on "addDownloadJob" of
  PageFeedItemService.
  
5. Changes on Display Ads API:
 ■MCC accounts
 Search, browse, edit MCC account became available.
 *This feature is already available on the Campaign Management Tool.

 Along with this enhancement, there are the following changes.

 Sharing the target list between ad accounts under the MCC account

 ■Get Video view through rate
 Get "Video view through rate" became available on StatsService.
 *This feature is already available on the Campaign Management Tool.

 ■Changes on reporting
 ・When using MCC account, the following reports support the
  aggregation of multiple accounts.
  -Conversion path report
  -Cross-campaign reach report
 *The release of the change scheduled March 3, 2021.

 [Display Ads] multiple account aggregation in some reports
 
 The following changes were also made on ReportDefinitionService.
 ・Became available to specify the presence or absence of "header line"
  and "total line" of the reports
 ・The display type of numerical items including the decimal point can
  be selected from "Display all" and "Simple display"
 ・Changed the notation "E-commerce," the value of the campaign
  delivery type returned in the report, to "Ecommerce"
 ・Changed some values of Enum that describes the character code of
  download files to unify notation.
  
 ■Enhancements on targeting settings
 Following targeting features support multiple lists per ad group and
 bid adjustment rate by each list.
 These are available on all versions of Display Ads API.
  -Search keyword targeting
  -Site retargeting
  -Placement targeting

 Additionally, v4 supports the following features.
  -"Exclusions-only list" on placement targeting
  -Get performance data and report of search keyword list, target list,
  placement list

 ■Maintenance release
 ・AccountService supported updating Yahoo! JAPAN Business ID of the
  account administrator.

6. Remarks:
 ・More details will be available on the release note and reference
  document provided on the new version release.
  -We will hold an online seminar to give an overview of v4 along with
  the release.

 ・Display Ads API v3 supported "Recommendations" feature that suggest
  the recommendations for each account from December 17, 2020.
  It can also be used on v4, so please make use of it for your advertising.

7. Yahoo! JAPAN Ads API v2 Sunset:
 Yahoo! JAPAN Ads API v2 sunset is scheduled as follows.
  Deprecation Date : March 22, 2021 (Mon)
  End of Life Date : July 20, 2021 (Tue)

 Yahoo! JAPAN Ads API v1 will also end on the following scheduled date
 as previously announced in "Yahoo! JAPAN Ads API v3 released (Document
 Number: APIE-FY20-2101)." 
  End of Life Date : March 22, 2021 (Mon)
  *We have ended the user support for this version already.
