Search Ads New auto bidding type released

Thank you for using Yahoo! JAPAN Ads.

We have released new auto bidding types on Search Ads standard bidding
as previously announced in "Search Ads New auto bidding type postponed
(Document Number: APIE-FY21-2231)."

3. Overview:
 Search Ads standard bidding started a new auto bidding type.
 
 It was necessary to change the bidding method set for the campaign
 according to the change in the purpose of advertising, but after this
 release, it can be adjusted with the option setting of the auto bidding
 type without changing the bidding method.
 
 Use the new type of auto bidding for more flexible campaign operation.
 
 ■Adding "Maximize Conversion Value" and changing "Target ROAS"
  We are planning a release of new auto bidding type "Maximize
  Conversion Value" in the near future.
  
  The "Target ROAS" became an option for "Maximize Conversion Value."
  
  ・Maximize conversion value + Option setting "Set":
    Same as the "Target ROAS" previously being provided
  ・Maximize conversion value + Option setting "Unset":
    will be provided as "Maximize conversion value" in the near future
   
  *We will inform you once the release date is determined.
  *Before the release of "Maximize Conversion Value," the option setting
  "Unset" is not available.

 ■"Maximize Conversions" and "Target CPA"
  "Target CPA" became an option for "Maximize Conversions."

  ・Maximize conversion + Option setting "Set":
    Same as the "Target CPA" (old format) previously being provided
  ・Maximize conversion + Option setting "Unset":
    Same as the "Maximize Conversions" (old format) previously being
    provided

 Download and check the documents for details of the new auto bidding type.
 
4. Note:
 ・Although how to set up auto bidding changed, the functions of each
  auto bidding type remain the same.
 ・The new auto bidding type will be provided for the standard bidding
  only.
 ・Adding a new setting of the previous auto bidding type became
  unavailable.
  Changing the setting to the current auto bidding type on the
  existing campaigns became unavailable also.
  However checking the settings and changing any values on the current
  auto bidding types are still available.  
 ・The old type of auto bidding will be automatically transferred to
  the new type in the future.
 * We will inform you once the release date and details are determined.
  
 ・Refer the following help page to learn about how to set a new auto
  bidding type.

5. Impact on Yahoo! JAPAN Ads Search Ads API:

   Set upper and lower bid limit:
    CampaignService
    ・bidCeiling
    ・bidFloor
 
  When you are using API of v5 or lower, note the following points.
  ・When changing to the old auto bidding type or specifying a new
   setting, the new auto bidding type will be set without error.
  ・Requests and responses are in old format.
   Check the report to see whether the format is old or new.
  ・The "upper limit of bid price" and "lower limit of bid price" of
   Standard bidding were abolished by this change.
   If you try to set it, the request will be ignored.
   If you have already a value set, we recommend that you delete it.
