Additional symbols on ads of Display Ads

Dear customers,

Thank you for using Yahoo! JAPAN Ads.

We have made enhancements of available symbol characters on ads of Display
Ads. Please see the following details.

Once again, thank you for using Yahoo! JAPAN Ads.


1. Product:
　Yahoo! JAPAN Ads Display Ads

2. Effective date:
　July 14, 2021 (Wed)

3. Overview:
　We will expand the supportive symbol characters on ads of Display Ads.

　■Available symbols
　The full-width brackets "『 』", "～" (as known as "wave-dash") etc,
　will become available on the title and description, item lists of
　Dynamic Ads for Display.
　Create more effective ads by using these symbols.

・Symbols

　*The full-width symbol "～" (UnicodeU+301C) that represents "kara" in
　Japanese (as known as "wave dash") is converted to the symbol "～"
　(Unicode U+FF5E, as known as "full-width tilde").

・Brackets

　 ■Reject judgement
　Along with this change, we changed the rejection judgement of ads
　including symbols as follows.

　[Before]
　Ads including inappropriate symbols, such as continuous use of the same
　symbol, are rejected at the editorial review.
　[After]
　Continuous use of the same symbol or improper use of symbols such as
　unpaired parentheses will be an error when adding ads.
　
　*On Yahoo! JAPAN Ads Display Ads API, the following error code will
　return.
　　code: F0001, message: Invalid format.

　・Effected version: All
　・Impact: The same symbols as the Campaign Management Tool are available.
