Search Ads Change of conversion analytics for app download ads released

Thank you for using Yahoo! JAPAN Ads.
We have released the new conversion analytics that was previously
announced in "Search Ads Change of conversion analytics for app
download ads (Document Number: APIE-FY21-2106)."
Please see the following details.

1. Product:
 Yahoo! JAPAN Ads Search Ads

2. Effective date:
 June 30, 2021 (Wed)

3. Overview:
 We have made the following enhancement on conversion analytics for
 app download ads.

 (1)New conversion analytics will be released.
  We have released the new conversion analytics that links a
  conversion by using link ID created on the Campaign Management Tool.
  On the new conversion analytics, you can select new options of
  "Tracking purpose."

 (2)Change of "Conversion tracking purpose"
  The conversion tracking purpose changed as follows.
  For two conversion types "App Download" and "First App Activation,"
  we have changed the tracking purpose as follows.
   Before: Other
   After: Download
  *The settings of existing conversion analytics were changed to
  "download."

4. Future schedule:
 We will make the following changes in Autumn 2021.
 *The schedule may change without prior notice.

 ・Creating, editing, or tracking conversion analytics by the existing
 method will become unavailable.
 ・Using the new conversion analytics for autobidding will begin.

5. Remarks:
 ・To change to the new method, communicate with your ad measurement
 tool provider in advance.
 Even when selected "Yes" option for autobidding on the new conversion
 analytics, the setting will not activate until Autumn 2021.
 When you continue to use the conversion analytics for autobidding,
 use conversion analytics in parallel.

 ・Conversion analytics by the existing method will be available until
 Autumn 2021.
 ・Performance report may display other name of purpose for "Tracking
 purpose" that can be selected for the new conversion analytics.

6. Remarks:
 ・Differences between the current and new method of conversion
 analytics and details of using for autobidding are described on the
 release note.
 
7. Impact on Yahoo! JAPAN Ads Search Ads API:
 The following changes were made along with the new conversion analytics.

  [Details]
  ・Specifying the new conversion type APP_LINK_CONVERSION became
  available on ConversionTrackerService

  ・Followings became available.
  -"getAppEventType" of ConversionTrackerService
   -AppLinkService
   -"getAppLinkVender" of DicionaryService

  Note that the change on the tracking timing "app download" and
  "app first open" are applied on all available versions.
