Closing YDN and about Converting campaigns to Display Ads (Auction)

Dear customer,
Thank you for using Yahoo! JAPAN Ads.
We are closing Display Ads (YDN) in 2021 Spring, and integrate the
services to Display Ads (Auction) that has been released. Before the
close, we will switch the default screen of the Campaign management tool.
Please see the following details.

2. Schedule:
■August 26, 2020 (Wed)
Switch the default screen of the Campaign management tool from
YDN's to the screen of Display Ads (Auction).
■2021 Spring
Close YDN service
*Schedule may change without prior notice.
3. Overview:
Display Ads (YDN) service will close in 2021 Spring.
Before the close, we will switch the default screen of the Campaign
management tool for Display Ads, from YDN's to the screen of
Display Ads (Auction).
* You can switch it back to the former YDN default screen.
Display Ads (Auction) has started the service.
Every advertiser who is using YDN can use Display Ads (Auction).
You can use the feature to convert your YDN campaigns to Display
Ads (Auction).
Please consider to convert to Display Ads (Auction) as early as
possible for more effective advertising campaign operation.
Please refer to the Start Guide for details on the features and
converting procedure for Display Ads (Auction).

4. Steps to YDN close:
The following steps are planned for YDN close.
■August 26, 2020 (Wed)
Switch the default screen of the Campaign management tool.
■FY2020 Winter
Suspend creating a new YDN campaign
■2021 Spring
Close YDN service Convert YDN campaigns in bulk to Display Ads (Auction)
5. Precautions:
When YDN service close, all of YDN campaigns will be converted to the
campaigns in Display Ads (Auction) format.
However, some YDN settings can't be inherited because of the structure
differences between YDN and Display Ads (Auction).
To avoid confusions, we recommend you to convert YDN campaigns to
Display Ads (Auction) in advance on your end.
Note that you don't need to resubmit your ads to review if those YDN
ads have been reviewed and are active.
