Display Ads (Auction) Automatic converting of ads for the destination URL format end

Dear customers,

Thank you for using Yahoo! JAPAN Ads.

We will perform the automatic converting of ads for the end of
destination URL format on Display Ads (Auction).
Please see the following details.

1. Product:
 Yahoo! JAPAN Ads Display Ads (Auction)

2. Overview:
 Before the destination URL format ends on Display Ads (Auction),
 we will perform the automatic converting of ads in the destination
 URL format. Ads will change to the final URL format by automatic
 converting.

3. Impact:
 Following impacts are expected.
 ・Our system may crawl customer's website.
 ・When you set a tracking URL or custom parameter for upper layer
 (account, campaign, ad group) of the ad, the setting for upper layer
 made after the automatic converting will become effective. You
 can't specify the timing when the setting will be effective.

 If you do not want the system to crawl the website, or if you have
 set the tracking URL, etc. in the upper layer, perform the
 converting manually by yourself before the automatic converting.

 The converting feature available on the Campaign Management Tool is
 described on the following pages.

4. Subject account and schedule:
 Ads in the destination URL format under the account that has one or
 more impressions after January 2021 will be subject to automatic
 converting.

 Depending on the settings of ads, the converting is scheduled as
 follows.
 ・Sequentially start from June 15, 2022 (until the end of June)
  Accounts where only ads with the same domains of the destination
  URL and display URL are added

 ・Sequentially start from early July, 2022 (until early September)
  Accounts that contain ads with different domains for the
  destination URL and display URL

 *This date is subject to change.
 *You can't specify the timing of converting.

5. Automatic converting:
 The converting method differs depending on the ad type and the
 status of domain match of the URL set in the ad.
 Note that the delivery of an ad that fails in the automatic converting
 will not stop immediately. Such ads will continue to be delivered in
 the destination URL format, but because delivery will stop after
 November 2022, convert them by yourself until the end of October
 2022.

 More details and precautions are described in the release notes.

6. End of ads in the destination URL format:
 The editorial status for ads in the destination URL format at the
 end of October 2022 will change to "declined" from November 2022.

 The ad delivery will stop for these ads because of this change.
 Convert your ads to the final URL format by the end of October 2022
 if you want to continue ad delivery.
 Because the status of ads will change to "disapproved," you will
 receive email notification by account.
