Display Ads Conversions for Autobidding changes

Dear customers,

Thank you for using Yahoo! JAPAN Ads.

Conversion settings for optimization of autobidding will become
available by each campaign on Display Ads.
Creating conversion groups will become available at the same time.
Please see the following details.

3. Overview:
 Conversion settings for optimization of autobidding will become
 available by each campaign on Display Ads.
 Creating conversion groups that can manage multiple conversion
 settings will become available at the same time.
 The conversion group will help optimization.

 Because these new features will allow you to select conversion points
 and conversions for each product by each campaign, optimization
 accuracy such as CVR prediction with auto bidding setting is expected
 to improve.

 < Before the change >
 The conversion settings for optimization have been using per-account
 conversion settings (only those for which "Include in Conversions"
 was selected).

 < After the change >
 In addition to the former per-account conversion settings, you can
 also select the following conversion settings for optimization.
 ・Selecting conversion settings by each campaign used for optimization
 ・Selecting conversion groups by each campaign used for optimization

4. Tracking "conversions":
 After the change, the tracking method of "conversions" will differ
 as follows, depending on the setting of "Conversion action for
 optimization" that is newly added to the view of creating and editing
 campaigns.

 ■ With the setting "Use account-level conversion setting":
 →Count the number of conversions that by per-account conversion
  settings
  (only those for which "Include in Conversions" is selected).

 ■ With the setting "Select campaign-level conversion setting":
 →Count the number of conversions with the selected conversion
  setting or by each conversion group on the "Conversions" column.
  *The setting "include / not include" on "Conversion counting"
  will not be applied. The number of all conversions measured with
  the selected conversion settings will be counted.

 Because the definition of "conversions" displayed on the Campaign
 Management Tool and performance report will change, use the item
 "Conversions (all)" when checking the number of conversions to
 compare results. "Conversions (all)" will count the number of all
 conversions regardless of settings.

5. Remarks:
 ・ When you have set a bid strategy other than autobidding, selecting
 conversion settings for your campaign will not affect ad delivery,
 but note that the method of tracking conversions per campaign will
 change.

 ・This feature will become available on the Campaign Management Tool
 and Campaign Editor.
