We have released "Responsive Ads for Search Ads" of Search Ads.
Please see below for details.

1. Product:
　Yahoo! JAPAN Ads Search Ads

2. Effective date:
　May 12, 2021 (Wed)

3. Overview:
　We have added a new ad type "Responsive Ads for Search" on Search Ads.
　For Responsive Ads for Search, multiple texts (assets) of
　title/description are required for ad delivery.
　Those assets will be automatically combined and tested, then the most
　effective ads will be delivered.
　
　You can expect to improve the advertising effectiveness by determining
　the relevancy between search terms and ad texts, devices and ad
　placements on ad delivery, and optimizing automatically.
　
　■Number of assets and length are as follows:
　・Available numbers
　　　Title: Up to 15
　　　Description: Up to 4
　・Required
　　　Title: 3 or more
　　　Description: 2 or more
　・Length
　　　Title: Up to full-width 15, half-width 30 characters
　　　Description: Up to full-width 45, half-width 90 characters

　■Responsive Ads for Search will provide the following functions:
　・Ad display option
　・Embedded function (Keyword insertion, COUNTDOWN, auto-insertion of
　　geographic information)

　*Ad Customizer and IF function are not available.
　*COUNTDOWN function that is available on Responsive Ads for Search
　is different from the COUNTDOWN that is provided on the other ads
　provided currently.
　*The name in Japanese has changed from "補完テキスト" to
　"デフォルトテキスト". There is no change on the name in English
　"default text".

　■Ad example
　　When assets of 12 titles and 3 descriptions are added, several
　　assets will be combined automatically and delivered.

　　Title combination: Title3 - Title12 - Title5
　　Description combination: Description2 Description1

4. Impact on Yahoo! JAPAN Ads Search Ads API:
　・Following objects related to Responsive Ad for Search that has
　already been released on v4 will become available.
　　－adType:RESPONSIVE_SEARCH_AD
　　－AdGroupAdServiceResponsiveSearchAd
　　See Reference document for details

　・Ad report of "ReportDefinitionService" supported the following items.
　　　－ASSET_TITLE1～ASSET_TITLE15
　　　－ASSET_DESCRIPTION1～ASSET_DESCRIPTION4

5. Remarks:
　・Make sure not to duplicate the wording or the title/description of
　the content or not complete the meaning, because assets are combined
　automatically.

　・It takes about 30 days as a learning period to display the optimized
　title and description.
　We don't recommend to pause Responsive Ads for Search in short period.

　・You can use the fixing ad placement function to display items defined
　by Advertisement Editorial Guidelines to be displayed at a certain
　position of each ads.
